If you need to control, protect and monitor your PV/genset plant the ECpv2 S, M and L provide a scalable hybrid controller. ECpv2 interfaces directly with solar inverters, power meters and genset controllers and dynamically controls inverter output with linear, double-decimal precision to enable safe hybrid operation and fuel savings. It is used for fuel saving in both off-grid and on-grid PV/genset applications and can manage export or prevent unwanted export when required. In off-grid scenarios ECpv2 can enable spinning reserve with compatible synchronizing genset controllers. The controller supports breaker feedback (digital inputs) and relay outputs for protection, and exposes a Modbus Slave port for external master control (PLC/SCADA). Site setup and live monitoring are provided via ECweb; data can be logged locally (SD/USB) or exported to ECcloud, FTP or MySQL for reporting and analysis.
