The ECpv2 is the second-generation ENcombi plug-and-play controller for decentralized PV plants, with or without gensets. Building on the proven ECpv platform, ECpv2 adds a wide range of new features designed to give you even more flexibility, performance, and control.

The controller connects seamlessly to inverters, controllers, and power meters via RS-485 or TCP/IP, giving you full control of grid export and self-consumption. It supports curtailment during negative energy prices and enables safe and efficient genset operation in hybrid plants, helping to significantly reduce fuel consumption. ECpv2 also supports load power meters as well as analogue sensors for weather data and fuel measurements.

Using the ECpanel, you get a true plug-and-play HMI operator panel without any need for application programming. Configuration, commissioning, and monitoring are easily handled through ECweb, which guides you step by step and provides comprehensive monitoring tools and detailed reports—accessible from both PC and mobile devices.

With the integrated EClogic feature, you can create custom control logics using a simple yet powerful programming tool. For advanced monitoring, the ECcloud remote monitoring system allows live and historical data visualization and analysis of your PV and PV-Genset plants.

The ECpv2 hardware is a high-quality, fast, and extremely compact unit, making it easy to install in almost any electrical cabinet. This makes it especially well suited for brownfield projects and retrofit installations.

Depending on the selected variant, ECpv2 supports:
Up to 32 solar inverters
Up to 16 PV feeders
Up to 16 mains connections
Up to 16 gensets in all PV/Genset variants
