Seamless transfer cabinet for BESS on-grid/off-grid operation
Plug & play accessory for safe, automatic grid-to-island switching in battery energy storage systems
Learn more about ECsync and what makes it unique
ECsync Control is the ENcombi plug and play cabinet for providing seamless transfer, by the means of an external breaker, between on-grid and off-grid operation in BESS applications where the BESS itself does not feature seamless transfer by means of STS or otherwise.
The ECsync Control cabinet's main component is a synchronization relay. The ECsync Control is to be used in conjunction with an external mechanical grid breaker that shall be under control of the ECsync Control cabinet. The ENcombi EMS, ECpvX/ECcubeX, can communicate with and control the synchronization relay.
EMS Requirement:
ECsync Control requires an ENcombi EMS to operate. The following ECpvX variants are available:
• ECpvX Logger: Logs data from utility, gensets and PV inverters.
• ECpvX Solar: Power Plant Control for solar and BESS.
• ECpvX S: Microgrid up to 100kW BESS and 100kW PV inverter.
• ECpvX M: Microgrid up to 500kW BESS and 500kW PV inverter.
• ECpvX L: Microgrid unlimited BESS and PV inverter capacity.
